Winters Named Management Principal of HOK Dallas Office

With more than 33 years of experience in project and facility management, Winters will assume overall responsibility for the office.

HOK senior vice president Peter Winters, FAIA, CFM, has been appointed to the position of management principal for the firm’s Dallas office. His responsibilities include day-to-day operation, financial performance, strategic marketing plans, staff development and coordination with HOK firm-wide groups. He received his bachelor’s of science degree in environmental design and his a master’s of architecture, both from Texas A&M University.

Morris Architects in Houston announced the promotion of Dallas Felder to associate principal. He received his master’s of architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and a bachelor’s of science in architecture from the University of Michigan.

KAI Texas in Dallas announced its president and COO Darren James recently completed a leadership development program through the Dallas Regional Chamber to become a graduating member of the Leadership Dallas Class of 2009. James will serve as one of four class advisors for the Leadership Dallas Class of 2010.

The Dallas Regional Chamber has announced the appointment of Duane Dankesreiter as vice president of Business Information and Research. In the position Dankesreiter will direct the Chamber’s research effort in support of economic development in Dallas and across the region. He holds a bachelor’s degree in geography from Texas A&M University and a master’s of public affairs degree from the University of Texas - Dallas.

Eagle Materials Inc. in Dallas announced the following senior management team appointments: D. Craig Kesler has been promoted to executive vice president, Finance and Administration and CFO; William R. Devlin has been promoted to senior vice president, controller and CAO; and Robert S. Stewart joins as executive vice president, Strategy, Corporate Development and Communications.

Wier & Associates Inc. in Arlington announced that Jake Fears, PE, has received his LEED AP certification. Fears graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s of science degree in civil engineering. The firm also announced the hire of its newest professional engineer, Brandon Long, P.E. Long graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor’s of science in civil and environmental engineering.
