Truck Crane

Grove has introduced its newest truck crane: the TMS500E. Equipped with a four-section, full-power main boom and swingaway, the unit has a maximum tip height of 147 ft. The three-axle machine has a 40-ton capacity rating. It also features a rear axle suspension for a smooth ride at 65 mph. Full-length fenders and decking are standard, as well as aluminum wheels and a chrome muffler stack. A front stabilizer with permanently stowed pads is also standard along with carrier-mounted and superstructure cab outrigger controls. Scratcher Trowel

Marshalltown has released the QLT Scratcher Trowel. The new trowel's design is ergonomically advanced with a resilient, curved handle for extra comfort and control while its notched edges create a deep score in plaster or stucco. Other features include an aluminum allow mounting riveted to a hard, tempered steel blade, and the 12-in.-by-4.5-in. blade is notched on three sides.

Valve Station

Nicholson Steam Trap has introduced its new "Big Block" Universal Mount Trap Valve Station. It combines isolation valves, test ports, strainer and blowdown valve in a trap mounting block that conforms to the two bolt universal swivel mount connection pattern. The Big Block features blowout proof isolation valves with grease fittings to lubricate and flush contaminates. It also features stainless steel construction with adjustable Grafoil packing. Excavator

Caterpillar Inc. has introduced a Compact Radius mini hydraulic excavator. The 304 CR is designed for space restricted applications, weighing just 9,896 lbs. with a cab and 9,786 with a canopy. The 304 CR comes with a naturally aspirated, water-cooled, four-stroke, four-cylinder diesel engine that delivers 36 net horsepower for a top speed of 2.9 mph. Built-in balance valves prevent overspeeding during downhill travel. All controls are low-effort pilot hydraulic and ergonomically designed. Texturing Machine

BID-WELL has developed the TC-360 that is capable of longitudinal texturing/curing, traverse texturing/curing and longitudinal curing. The basic TC-360 is designed for paving projects from 24 ft. to 60 ft. wide. Adding 3-, 4-, 6-, 12- or 15-ft. sections can lengthen the machine. Target recently announced introduction of the MG-10 Green Concrete saw. The MG-10 offers an exclusive precision blade control system. The patent-pending system includes a single lever to engage and disengage the blade to a predetermined position, providing an accurate cut.
