The Environmental Protection Agency recently awarded $13 million to the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (or ODEQ) to provide loan assistance to eligible public water systems for infrastructure improvements needed to ensure safe drinking water. The following types of set-aside activities will also be funded: administrative, small systems/technical assistance, state programs management, and local assistance.
